Congradulations! Shohni, you were able to post your question here & that is a start!  It can be tricky sometimes. 

Posting to a current feed/thread/topic): To the right of the persons name there is a little arrow. It may be on the far right side. Click there to type your reply, then look for the red "POST" button, & click that.

For a New Question/topic: From the group page (says Everything Essential near the top & has a red 'button' that says "new topic". Click on new topic.  Enter a subject & text -similar style to most emails. Then click on the red or green "POST" button. It will be in roughly the same place as the "New Topic", or below the text area.   

There are 13,600+ topics so you may want to search first.
