[Everything doTERRA] Re: Stomach "superbug" 2013 Sydney strain GII.4 .......

Oh my goodness!  My family and I just went through hell this past week and now I now what we had.  We flew from Seattle to Boston and I think that's where we caught this virus.  It was nasty and I am glad it's over.  I applied oregano, thyme and purify along with the FCO along the spine on our backs, digetzen and ginger on our tummy and peppermint/cinnamon on our feet.  I can tell you that the virus still had to run its course even though and the oils did not stop the vomiting/diarrhea maybe they helped getting rid of it faster? Ours all lasted 24 hours (kids vomited and hubby and I had diarrhea and awful nausea)  I read that when you vomit or have diarrhea that your body is getting rid of thousands of these virus particles each time and that is a good thing so don't stop your body from getting rid of this virus in any way...it's better to get it out even though it's not a pleasant feeling.

I wonder if OnGuard protects people from catching this super contagious virus to begin with?  Any ideas?

Peace & Blessings,
Laura

....... are oils actually able to stop an onset of this highly contagious stomach bug?  It almost starts making one vomit before one knows to apply any oils.  Within hours you have sudden onset of stomach cramps and vomiting.  No fever. Some have diarrhea.

It hit us (4) at once last Wednesday night (3 hrs after contracting it from a family that was recovered but still contageous); then, 3 1/2 days later, the 5th family member was hit with it.  She had diarrhea and fever accompany hers.  I was so happy on Thursday to report that she, unlike us four, had had the last bit of DigestZen rubbed on her belly and that surely that was why she was exempt from it all.  Then, she trailed behind us and was sicker than us all today!

Any advice on stomach bugs?  It's pretty vicious, very contagious (virus sits 72 hours on surfaces unless cleaned with bleach and water solution AND it only takes 9 virus particles VS. thousands like the flu to catch it).  It hit San Diego in January very hard... and found it's way to our home in mid=April.

Any ideas would be helpful.
