[Everything doTERRA] citrus oils alkalize body

Do citrus oils like lemon and wild orange bring the body back into homeostatis - a normalized pH of 6.4? In my reading I learned that illness and disease thrive in an acidic environment. What about when the body tests high in alkaline content? What happens then? And do citrus EO bring the body back to a balanced pH?
