[Everything doTERRA] Testimonial Requests

Does anyone have a testimonial on using an essential oil for any of the following:

Foot Odor?

Lowering Cholesterol?

Varicose Veins?

Also, is it safe for mom's that are lactating to use the oils? I would assume so. She put it on her hands to rub the babies feet. I had a client that tried Digestzen on her constipated baby ask me if it helped her produce more milk?

Thank you!

[Everything doTERRA] Re: trigger finger

I highly recommend Lemongrass, Myrrh, and Cypress...you can layer them
in that order and do it multiple times a day until healed...That
combination has taken care of my pain in my knees from ITBS and also
in my feet with Plantar Fascia!

Love those oils!

Kim,
There are 3 bottles in the LLV.  If she cannot take the vitamin (VM) pills...do the wait time and take them after the 4 hour wait.  Julie Ann

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Scoliosis

Hi Scotty,
I for one can tell you from personal experience that I was born with severe scoliosis, went to chiropractors all my life for it, and when I was introduced to essential oils 8 years ago I was told that eo's would "do" 3 things:  1. They clean the cells receptor sites   2.  They erase "deprogram" bad (corrupted) DNA  3.  They reprogram the correct DNA. This allows for intracellular communication, meaning the cells can now talk (communicate) with each other. This does away with long standing health problems that may have plagued you all your life.  It takes TIME to accomplish this and if you are not consistent....as in EVERY DAY of using the oils...then don't expect your miracle.  I now have a straight spine and have xrays to prove it.  I use the ATT AromaTouch oils up my spine and on my feet, every single day of my life and in three months of starting this 2 years ago with doTERRA oils my lower lumbar had completed it's trip back into it's proper place and my coccyx is now in it's proper place too!   You will NEVER find essential oils nor a system like the ATT that is more effective, powerful or potent as doTERRA's!    Hope this gives you what you wanted to hear.    Julie Ann in SC

Yes I didn't think of that one - it's good for aching muscles, arthritis, poor circulation so I would give it a try!

[Everything doTERRA] trigger finger

I'm trying to find information or testimonials of the oils for trigger
finger i am a hairdresser and have developed trigger finger in my
right hand but in a rare area (dr. said only a handful of cases had
ever been documented) its on the outside of the hand runs thru pink/
ring finger and wrist a by product of the cutting motion i have done
for 16 years. It is a inflamation issue as well as tendons too. I had
a cortizone shot that liked to have killed me (will never do again)
and he wanted me to take a anti-inflamatory (mobic) which out of
desperation i took 1 because i couldn't get my hand to go from a fist
to open hand position and i had to work so i took 1 and it gave me
chest pains so i never took another one.I definetly don't want to do
surgery on something that seems no one would have much experience at
and i can't afford not to work i am main income of our family so i'm
dependent upon the use of my hands. I have found great help with a
muscular massage therapist and by taking omegas but am wondering what
oils would help and in what way to use them.any help would be greatly
appreciated.

1:1 - 3:1 - much better than the average 16:1 - 30:1 that most Americans ingest just by our lifestyle!

I understand what you are saying and thank you so much for those info.!
I just never heard 1:1 and learned that 1:3 (O3:O6) is the best balance for our cells to function in the way they are supposed to.

Either way, we have to know what we eat for health:)

Re: Re: Re: [Everything doTERRA] Frankincense

A high ratio, it is thought, can lead to thickening of the blood possibly leading to blood clots, a worsening of some autoimmune diseases and an increase in some inflammatory diseases, and more, including cancer. A lower ratio can is associated with a lower breast cancer risk. And there is a wide range of lifestyle diseases that are thought to be susceptible to a high ratio between the 2, including many that are related to inflammation in the body.

So there are 2 things you need to do if you want to improve your ratio and lessen your risk of various diseases, some serious. You need to lower your intake of Omega 6 by lowering your intake of processed foods and oils, for instance by changing to good oils such as Olive Oil.

And you need to increase your intake of Omega 3 EFAs, by eating more fish or by daily supplementation with fish oil supplements (OUR OMEGAs in THE LLW).

Re: Re: [Everything doTERRA] Frankincense

The essential fatty acids—called essential because the body cannot make them on its own—are omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These essential fats must come from the diet. And they must come from the diet in a balanced ratio.

When the ratio of the essential fatty acids becomes imbalanced—that is, when the omega-6s overwhelm the omega-3s or vice versa—the body experiences inflammation which can result in serious chronic inflammatory conditions.

It's precisely an imbalance between the essential fats that's wreaking havoc on our health today. Americans get substantially more omega-6 fats than omega-3s. And the more omega-6 fats are consumed, the more the body is unable to utilize the powerfully healthy omega-3s when it does get them.

In fact, before trans fats and processed foods were added to our diets, the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats was about 4:1—a ratio associated with a 70% decrease in total mortality rate in the secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease.1

Today, one study found that the ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fats consumed was closer to 16:1.1 Other researchers say that the typical American diet contains 11-30 times more omega-6 than omega-3 fats.2 And in a study of asthmatic patients, a 10:1 ratio was associated with adverse consequences.1

So it's clear that, to stay healthy, we need to balance our consumption of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. One expert suggests a 1:1 ratio—and never more than 2:1.3

-I'll try and find another explanation also

I believe omega 3: omega 6 should be no more than 1:3 although average American's balance is over 1:10.

[Everything doTERRA]

It's very easy to get it if you think where do breast milk come from. Blood changes color as you may know and even our breast milk is made from blood. I know, it's gross to think this way.

I read it in many books, you may find milk related books at anywhere including www.amazon.com. I'm also a certified nutritionist from cancer control society (not a general calorie based nutrition but cell, biological, based nutrition).

And, I just follow the simple logic; cow milk is for cow babies. Our body cannot break down calcium from cow's milk, which is supposedly the number one reason to drink cow milk.

Anyways, I'd be happy to discuss this type of topic via private email because it's nothing to do with doTERRA:)

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Hepatitis B Carrier

First I will explain the doTerra does not give out suggestions or protocols for the oils.
You will have to clear the liver also (Zendocrine Cleanse) but the Mellissa does kill
the virus and that is one of the main problems.
While doing the cleanse you have to drink a lot of water with lemon in it. The lemon
in the water helps to flush toxins.
There is also a Zendocrine Oil Blend that can be rubbed topically on the liver area.

The LLV is a perfect way to balance the body and help it to heal itself. The person
with the Hep needs to keep his diet clean from carbs and dairy while cleansing.

Cleanse, do you mean the Zendocrine?

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Frankincense

The problem with Omegas is that you need to ingest them in a 1:1 ratio - if something is loaded with either 6 or 9 then it is unbalanced and you will have problems.

My son is 2.5 years old and had eczema. One of my friends, she's 41, has had it since she was 3 years old.
Frankincense worked really well for both of them. You can use it with either coconut oil or body cream.

I have pretty much same allergies with your son. I don't eat those things and dairy. Dairy products are too heavy for our body to break down and we can survive very well without cow's blood (milk is blood...).
And please be aware of cooking oils as well. I'd suggest coconut oil and Canada oil because they are available everywhere and have omega 9, instead of omega 6 (you might want to keep omega 6 as little as possible because our food is saturated with it and it causes MANY troubles).

Also having a lot of FRESH vegetables and fruits in your diet would support healthy cells.
We are almost like fruitarians + vegetarians, healthier than ever and my son has no more eczema.

Please keep us posted about your son. Good luck to you and your family.

[Everything doTERRA] Hepatitis B Carrier

I met with a couple tonight who have 4 adopted children from Russia.
One of the twin daughters is a Hepatitis B Carrier with a significant
viral load, which has been constant since age 3, she is now 16. She
has had several illness throughout her life but has overcome or
treated them by using Homeopathy. They of course are worried about her
future. Sounds like doctors don't know what to do with her, they
basically say when this happens we'll treat it and so on. (They more
or less will treat symptoms). Nothing else they have tried has worked.
Suggestions? They are very open and experienced with alternative
medicine,

Re: [Everything doTERRA] PUPP and kidney stones in pregnancy

Thank you Pat! I assume it is okay to do this during pregnancy?

Here is a drink that I know some people have had success with.  I used a
similar blend for gal stones.

Drink 3-5 8oz glasses of organic apple juice daily.

Then...

Kidney Stone Drink
2 Tbs virgin olive oil
5 drops geranium
5 drops rosemary
5 drops lemon
1 Tblspn grade B pure maple syrup

Mix vigorously and drink; repeat 3 times daily until stones pass.

Also have her put a spray top of Lavender and spray that on affected area.

Oh and on top of that she developed kidney stones. Any suggestions for that during pregnancy at all?
Thanks so much in advance.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Severe Earache

Bringing the oils behind the ear and down the jawline to the chin and then repeating it in front and then rubbing any residue in the small shelf of the ear. Then a warm moist compress.
If you have Frank and Basil is works really well.

Re: [Everything doTERRA] cranberry oil in xOmega

You are correct in starting her with 1/2, I usually start them with 1 from each bottle
and then add one from each every week.
I would let her make that decision on the cranberry powder.

I have a fairly new IPC who is going to start the LLV.  She is now
taking 80 mg of cranberry powder/day in caps to avoid problems with
IUTs.  I am having her start with 1/2 dose for a few weeks as she is a
pretty small gal and also has MS. Is the cranberry oil in x Omega
enough to help with this problem or should she continue  with the
cranberry caps?  And--am I wrong to suggest starting with just 1/2
dose? Thanks for any help  someone may have.

[Everything doTERRA] PUPP and kidney stones in pregnancy

Does anyone have suggestions on what to do for PUPP? My friend is 36+ weeks pregnant and itching like crazy. The doc prescribed oatmeal baths and some kind of lotion, which I think is a steroid cream.
Oh and on top of that she developed kidney stones. Any suggestions for that during pregnancy at all?
Thanks so much in advance.
