[Everything doTERRA] Re: [Everything doTerra] sunscreen

Hi John,
I've had 2 surgeries for skin cancer and I don't usually use sunscreen because of the cancerous ingredients. I haven't found a blend that helps so hopefully yours may help. I also read in a recent study done in Australia that taking vitamin B-3 (niacinamide?) prevents skin cancers. Please send me the blends you have available. Thank you.

Interesting, Seana.  One thing I think of when reading this is since I started taking LLV years ago (many times not even full dose), I've felt like I don't burn as easy as I used to.  I'm not a sun goddess & am fair skinned--I weed in the shade & am just not in the sun for any length generally. But times when I've got "caught" in the sun (soccer games, etc & didn't think to have sunscreen), I wondered if I was a little cuckoo because I really didn't seem to be red, like usual.  I totally attributed it to the LLV--but didn't know WHY I was giving the LLV the credit.  :0)   Thank you for sharing.

Coconut oil has a low SPF. There are several other oils with better SPF. Carrot and jojoba are two off the top of my head.1  Taking astaxanthin internally can help. Taking fish oil can help.
You'll want to do some research to figure out what works best for you.
