Re: [Everything doTERRA] New member's assorted questions

Hello Pat!
Thanks so much for your detailed reply! Just a few more questions.

1) What do you mean by "get yourself balanced first"?  (Should I be insulted? :-)

2) How do you know if an oil is "hot"?

3) Are there classes where I can learn all this??

Thanks!
Julie

So happy to have you on board and love your sense of humor.

Questions:
Snoring, try the petal diffuser by your bed with 2 drops of marjoram.

How many issues, Actually even treating just one issue can help with some of the other issues. Get yourself balanced first and then decide what to work on.

If you are applying a hot oil (oregano, lemongrass, etc) topically add a carrier. If you are taking it internally in a capsule you still want the coconut oil so you don't burp up the hot oil (yuck)

If you are using two oils, layer them on the are you are working on.

The Deep Blue rub and oils is for muscle and joint pain. If you use the Deep Blue use peppermint with it for added strength.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Pat

Hello all,
Just joined your group. Just discovered doTerra oils. I'm so overwhelmed by all the knowledge here! I've spent the last several days combing through old posts and replies for information. I didn't want to reinvent the wheel if I could help it. So, here goes!

1) I'm going to try the "snoring protocol" listed in the Everything Essential book. It says "apply thyme to bottom of feet...."  How many drops exactly? Also Pat recommends "try Marjoram in your diffuser".  Diffuser? Like the petal diffuser I purchased as part of my starter kit? How many drops?
(Yes, I can't cook without a recipe)

2) How many "issues" can you treat at one time?

3) When should you dilute an essential oil with a carrier oil?

4) When you use two oils at the same time, what is the best way to combine and apply?

5) I'd like to use DeepBlue on my husband. He's a hockey player. 20+ years of recreational play. Shoulder aches, hip aches. Suggestions?

That's enough for now! Thank you so very much for your time, wisdom and patience!
Julie
