Try to find out what is causing the itch first: dry skin dry because the air is dry? Change in body, hand, laundry or household cleaning soaps? My itching comes from INSIDE my body due to allergies so the GX Assist/PB Assist+ cleanse, then the Zendocrine cleanse, then a repeat of the GX/PB cleanse took care of my 30-year problem for me. FYI, nothing topical gave me any relief and anything prescription gave only partial relief just while I was taking it.
Are you exhibiting symptoms of candida, is that why you're wanting to do the cleanse?
Something else to consider is that your body may be having difficulty keeping up with the detox process so perhaps you need to cut back a bit. I've experienced trying to cleanse too much - GI cleanse along with a heavy metal cleanse were more than my body could handle at once. When your body can't keep up with the toxin release it can make manifest itself in various ways, one of which could be itchy skin.
Geranium is good at soothing itchy skin, and many have found Laveder to also be a good skin soother.
I've been reading that Arborvitae, in tests, is proving to be more effective against candida than melaleuca, but it's not to be taken internally. Dr. Hill published results on testing arborvitae so Google that (sorry, I don't have access to the link right now.)
Check out www.sustainablebabysteps.com for lots of information on how to use the doTERRA EO's for various health concerns. I'd also do searches on Pinterest and Google for "essential oils and candida."
