I have a client that invited me to share doterra oils with her 30 friends that she invited to a baby shower for a co worker. I want to make sure not to come across as a saleswoman, rather as an informer adn share how these oils can help a new mom with her emotions, her new born and other todllers. My idea was to play a couple of "games" so that the guests will be excited about winning a prize, rather then thinking it is a sales tactic. THis is not the place to be pushy and or agressive saleswoman. I feel that these oils sell themselves so if I can come up with a fun way to demonstrate these oils at a baby shower, I feel that I may win the crowd over adn have some cleints in the meantime. I am a massage therapist, so that helps wiht my cause, becuae i will be giving away a free 30 min aromatherapy massage treatment and some less expensive oils. I am sharing some of my ideas to get some feedback and hopefully some of your ideas so I can have a successful experince. My goal is to take only 20 minutes. unless I am feeling that the guests are asking a lot of questions and are enjoying this 'game"
-- I thought I would start off by sharing a few popular oils such as lavender, wild orange, peppermint etcc. I would pass these oils out and share how they can help with pregnancy, pre labor, labor post labor and with the infant adn toddlers. I will ask the guests to listen carefully adn smell each oil and concentrate on each smell. After about 15 min, I will put these oils into a sample bottle without any lable and the guests who can name the most oils jsut by smelling them will win a prize. The other game I thought I could do is play like a jepordy game and ask questions about the class that I jsut shared and see who could remember the most ab out each oils adn how they will help . Okay.. so tehre you go. What do you think? have any feedback or btter ideas taht I can use? This is in two days so I dont have much time to prepare. Wish me Luck: Thanks
