Pat, I'm curious what you mean when you say MRSA is not as contagious as you think. Can you expand on that? Thanks

My whole family as well as everyone who was at my sons b-day party yesterday may have been exposed to MRSA! The mother of the child who is suspected to have it never bothered to let anyone know that she was thinking her son had it! She is taking him in today to be checked but the sore on his armpit look identical to the pictures I have saw online. At any rate my daughter was face painting ALL of the kids faces so this has me freaked out! What can I do now to either ward off an infection or treat it once it starts? I rubbed on guard up the spine and on the bottoms of the feet because it is the only thing I have could think to do.....
