Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Help! Compliance problem at conference event

I am on my fourth large vendor event this year, I use banners made by an IPC, I use tear pads from aromatools.com and from myoilbusiness.com. My banner states I am an Independent Product Consultant, the tear sheets are handed out to every one that requests one.
Did you actually ask our legal department for approval?

I appreciate your email and will put a statement on the back of my tear sheets stating that this information is from me only and not from doTerra. That should take care of any problems.

WOW.  Even doTerra referrs to aromatools in their blog for ordering accessories they don't offer, so if you can't legally use the tear pads from there, I have no idea where you could get any!  My only thought is to maybe make your own, using the same concepts, but either leaving out the medical claims or (and) add the disclaimer at the bottom of the handout that says we do not diagnose/treat/etc.
I'm sorry you're going through this.  :(

I'm new to doTERRA and could use your help.
Recently I agreed to help out at a Salon Night-- a night for moms of autistic children to get pampered during an autism conference.  Showing the mood oils-- serenity, balance, citrus bliss and elevation. I read that I needed a doTERRA banner and to give Compliance all of the information I'd be giving out.  I've heard many times from speakers on www.doterrapro.com that aromatools.com is THE resource for doTERRA tearpads and such, so I purchased some mood oils tearpads and a banner from aromatools.com.  Compliance just emailed me today that I am not approved to present because tearpads and banners from doTERRA "have health claims that doTERRA cannot be associated with. However, as long as these items are not present we will allow you to present at the show."
So is there a site where I can buy LEGAL tearpads and a banner?  I respect doTERRA's need to make sure that materials make safe and accurate claims, but I'd like to have SOMETHING to show at this conference other than the doTERRA product catalog.

Thank you for any ideas
Jill
