Hello everyone! I have a very good friend who is struggling with video game addiction. This person often goes for 6 hours at a time with their games and skips work at least once a week to play. This friend is married and the addiction is causing financial stress in their marriage. After skipping work to play video games all day, he feels guilty and depressed because he knows that his wife will be disappointed. The wife is very patient with him and loves him very much, and wants to be able to help him overcome this. She says he apologizes all the time and will clean the house and cook dinner and do extra chores, but the issue is that he is not working when he should. He has a lot of confidence issues, which most likely stem from growing up with brothers who would tease him and hit him, and he feels more confident in a fantasy computer world than real life. His family growing up also did not profess love to each other. He is very passive aggressive.
Him and his wife would like to know if there are any oils that can help curve is need for video games. This is a serious problem and I would like to help these friends. My only thought right now is to use the same oils that are used for depression: Elevation, Wild Orange, etc.
Any suggestions?
