[Everything doTERRA] Re: Seizure immediately after putting balance and vetiver on

I don't have an answer to this and would like to hear what others with experience say.  From what I'm learning every Autistic child's body is different and responds to different oils in different ways.  Some find lavender calming, some find it has the opposite effect.  Many find environmental things such as different foods, food dyes, additives, chemicals, etc. to have pronounced effects on their kids. It really is a trial and error process.  Most of the moms find it worth it to put forth the effort to find the oils that do help them because finding a natural solution to many of the issues associated with autism can be difficult and the oils are a viable option.  My one friend found frankincense to help her son immensely with his seizures.  Is it ok if I repost this in our Essential Oils and Autism Spectrum Disorder facebook group and see what answers this group may have?  We are all learning and growing from these experiences.

Hi!  I'm fairly new to essential oils so i have no clue what the cause and answer could be to this problem so i thought I'd see if anyone else had experience with this.  I gave an oil sample of balance/vetiver to a friend.  She has a son who has cerebral palsy and autism and has always been prone to seizure but hasn't had one in a year.  Today she put it on him for the first time and she said he immediately started acting weird and then had a really bad seizure.  Does anyone have a reason for this or could this be merely a coincidence?

Thanks!
Karly
