[Everything doTERRA] cleaning empty bottles

Does anyone here have any ideas on how to effectively clean old used oil bottles so that they can be reused without still having the smell from the oil that was in there before? I want to reuse mine for some air fresheners and hand sanitizers and I need the old oil smell gone.
