Its hard to make suggestions for this type of cough. Does he take Blood Pressure
medication? Sometimes that will cause extreme coughing.
It could also be spasms in the throat causing the chronic coughing.

Try rubbing Frankincense and Breathe on the throat and the chest. Put some
Breathe on his shirt so he can breath it all day. It won't stain, so no worry there.
This is one of those cases that we continue to try different oils till we find one
that works.
