[Everything doTERRA] sever soar throat and cough 6 year old-emergency

What would be the best method to try and help with the soar throat
with my 6 year old daughter. I am assuming diffuser and massage the
throat with lavender and onguard.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
