[Everything doTERRA] Re: severe asthma- going off medications

the supplements are the basis for overall health. pinch and steal
away from other areas as much as you can to get them. It is hard to
get someone healthy that is unhealthy when they aren't building a
foundation. That is what supplements do. They work on your cells and
there are individual things in them that actually help asthma and are
antihistamines (would apply if her asthma is allergy triggered). Also
her diet. Really work with that, whether she could be eating dairy,
and stuff that we know are a big no no and we do it anyway. like food
dyes, white sugar, etc. It really shows if you are ready to take
responsibility no matter how hard. May be tough for a 13 year old.
But I think you should still try because if she kicks against it, she
will still be ready earlier than most and it won't take her till her
40s to figure it out. And you never know kids are amazing when they
are educated and we give them some credit.

And you know your bank account and whether or not you can rearrange
some things...I just know I had to think outside the box and really be
honest with myself. Can I eat out less/not at all, cut back cable,
cell phone, less shopping, etc. Some are already living on a shoe
string budget so the answer is still "no" but some are carrying
designer bags, wearing designer clothes, living in Starbucks, and
really believing they can't afford supplements.

And we all get to decide what category we are in and what our
priorities are. Again, I have no idea what your budget is and I am
just encouraging you to think outside the box.
