I really like this book http://www.amazon.com/Organic-Body-Care-Recipes-Formulas/dp/1580176763/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1290882961&sr=8-1  It doesn't have any recipes for making actual lotion or candles.  I have googled key words like body butter recipe and found some great ones.  If you have time, you can experiment and combine recipes to get exactly what you want.  A helpful suggestion, when you make something, keep track of how much of each ingredient are in it so you can go back and make it again if it turned out well.  Good luck and HAVE FUN!
