[Everything doTERRA] Re: Alpha CRS and the Daily Nutrient Pack

After Linda's comment about folic acid, I emailed doTERRA product support to ask about it & this was their response (not totally sure I understand everything they said but . . . ):

Thank you for your inquiry. We have incorporated folic acid in our Microplex MVp. Folic acid has a long history of safe clinical, medical and nutritional supplement use, and it is by far the best studied and clinically validated form. The liver activates dietary folic acid by converting it into MTHF, and recent studies have shown that high-dose folic acid supplementation can exceed the liver's ability so that unmetabolized folic acid enters the circulation. However, this only happens at dosages well in excess as what is provided in Microplex MVp.

 

No commercially viable, quality sources of natural folic acid or folates are available. Although "natural" B-vitamins can be sourced from brewer's yeast, the B-vitamins contained within the yeast cells have low bioavailability, because humans cannot easily digest yeast cells. Moreover, yeast-derived or other whole-food-derived B-vitamin sources are often adulterated with synthetic B-vitamins.

People with MTHFR are not able to detoxify as well, weather it is metabolic, physical or emotional. All these processes have to do with the immune system. Because we are lacking particular enzymes which results in low Glutathione among other things. Just curious why anyone would not take the Alpha CRS included with the LLV 3 pack and get the Daily Nutrient Pack (2 pack) instead?  Have not had any problems taking the ALpha CRS myself and was curious why they came up with a pack without this supplement.  Thanks for the help.
