A question directly to EverythingEssential.me and posted for bipolarbear.
-- One of my former students has a very large blood clot in his thigh, involving a major artery. He was working as a delivery driver(big rig) when the blood clot was discovered and can no longer work as sitting pinches off blood flow such as it is. He must keep his leg elevated above his heart the majority of the time. From time to time I see him at my school for assemblies as his nephew attends my school. By the time he leaves an assembly ( about 45 mins to an hour) his lower leg is purple. He takes Coumadin and cannot take anything with vitamin K in it. My question is , do any of the essential oils in the protocols contain vitamin K? I use lemongrass and peppermint myself for swelling/inflammation in my hands and it works great. I've alot of good thing about Helichrysum for blood clots and was thinking of suggesting it be applied topically and gently . Any suggestions or knowledge of vitamin K?
