I usually just run Plan water through and than wipe it out. I also let warm water and white vinegar sit for 15 min in it than rinse and wipe. Do not run the vinegar through it. I do the vinegar once a week. Water every other day
I ended up getting my small diffuser from myoilbusiness.com I like it since sits on my desk at work & I can smell the oils on occasions. I do need to figure out how to clean it though. If anyone has any ideas on how to clean it, they will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!--

On another, more positive note…I bought the Samyo diffuser through Amazon and I like it very much. It is quiet and covers a nice sized area. It also runs for nearly 12 hours when filled to capacity. However, reviews are mixed and many purchasers of this diffuser say to get the warranty as they don't seem to have a long lifespan. I have had my Samyo for over 6 months and run it daily for about 75% of the month. I did buy the warranty, to protect my investment, but I have not had any issues with it.
The diffusers from dÅTERRA seem to be effective and long-lasting. My favorite diffuser is the tear drop shaped diffuser I got from aromatools.com. The one drawback is that it only runs for four hours. If I am stuffed up and running it in my room to help me breathe I will wake up when the diffuser stops.
Hope this info is useful.

Sue, did you decide on a diffuser other than the Doterra ones? I have a friend who says they would love to have one from Doterra but cannot afford it right now. They are looking for a less expensive option but one that still has similar benefits. I told them about the new Petal diffuser, but I read it only covers about 100 square feet. On another website I read up to 330 but that still isn't very much space. Just wondering if you had found a good one, or if someone else on here can recommend something else of good quality.
Thanks,
Carla
