[Everything doTERRA] Re: OILS TO AVOID

Anna,

What is your source that causes you to "know marjoram is unsafe"? While I have read warnings of this in books that cover their behinds and are willing to spread false warnings I've never read a study or a legitimate source that gave credence to it.

I own 2 books that give warnings on it. The 2 books I own that practically warn that nothing is safe in pregnancy and I ignore warnings. One calls Frankinsince controversial and then recommends it through the book for all sorts of things. One book implys that it can stimulate menstration but sites no sources at all.

Then when I double check it in Tiserand's Essential Oil Safety book . He does not even list it as a concern on pg 153 where he lists oils with any studies to give us pause. Tiserand who tends to error on the side of causion gives a list of every oil he cations during pregnacy. Robert Tiserand is also the man who brought medicinal use of essential oils to America and considered one of the greats in Aromatherpy.

Marjoram is actully recommended during pregnacy for muscle relief, +++++ in Stephanie Frizt's book.
