For those of you who know what PUPPPS is, you also know that there aren't many fast remedies out for it. I've got a mild case of it and am doing all I can to keep it from spreading. I got it somewhere halfway through the pregnancy, and I've got a ways to go yet. Here are some things that have helped me.
-- - My sister in law made a stretch mark lotion for me some time back. I used that as my carrier and mixed in a natural diaper cream, Lemon, Lavendar, and Peppermint oils, Vit. E oil, and Evening Primrose oil. I'm thinking I need to add Myrrh to that.
- Keep a humidifier running CONSTANTLY! I can tell when it's empty without looking.
- I just got some Pine Tar soap which is supposed to do wonders, but I can't comment on that yet. It's supposed to be used with a cold shower. Hot showers make things worse. I'm guessing because the heat dries out the skin.
- I really think the LLV has kept it from getting too bad. Over the weekend, I wasn't doing very good at taking them, and it seemed to be worse.
I hope this can help someone else! I'm counting my blessings that I don't have it worse than what I do, but I'll be mighty glad to see the end of this pregnancy!
