I eat few processed foods so the only items I have to remove from my diet or change to gluten-free choices are breads, cereals, and pastas. Of course, being vegan, those are the mainstays of my diet along with fresh fruits and veggies. I'm going to do this elimination for a month. That shouldn't be difficult. If the eczema starts to fade, then I know I'm on the right track. If not, then on to plan "B"!!

If there are cracks down the center of your tounge that is called gluten cracks and is considered evedence of an issue. Is you do some look up on here- there are a bunch of ideas. With Ezcema its wise to look at diet if its not a topical issue. Candita is commonly the issue. Gluten feeds Candita. I'd remove all heavily processed foods and all sugar for a month. 3 weeks is the standard but I feel we go through withdrawls that last week and then it's easier to go without.Heather
