DigestZen and OnGuard beadlets have helped mine. When I feel a cold sore starting I apply DigestZen. Then I re-apply every time my attention is drawn to the cold sore. At the beginning, it might be every 15 minutes. But then the time will lengthen. I also dissolve an On Guard beadlet in my mouth as needed.
The key is frequent application at the very first tingle. I have been successful completely preventing a cold sore from erupting.
