Essential oils are amazing from womb to tomb, literally! And with anything we do we always take their age into consideration. I would have her apply Past Tense to the knee area. Balance and Frankincense on the bottom of her feet.
Normally for this type of surgery I would layer Frankincense, Helichrysum and Wintergreen directly on the affected knee. And then Balance on the back of the neck.
You choose which one to do. The layering might be more than she can handle right now, so that is the reason for the options.

She said yes so I have worked out someone to bring her some. I am sort of following the protocol in ME book for Wound Care, but a doterra friend brought up a point that because she is older (76, but pretty spry), I'd need to be careful of her having some type of adverse reaction if her body was too toxic. Any thoughts on this?--
