He's healed! I ended up buying Weleda Calendula Diaper Rash cream on a whim and after just one application the redness was gone, and after two he was almost entirely healed. I'm not sure what was in it that worked and I'm not sure how long it will last, but he's itch/pain free for now and I'm happy for that. I know it has clary-sage and roman chamomile in it and I believe those are in clearskin too. I wish I'd had the full load out of oils so I could've tried different combinations, at least it isn't another steroid cream though.
I also checked into raw milk and I need to buy a cow share, which my husband isn't onboard with doing right now. I've started adding probiotics to his morning smoothie, which is made with oj, coconut yogurt, frozen fruit, and a fresh banana. I'm hoping this will start to get some good guys in his gut. I guess I should take the OJ out of that, probiotics and sugars don't mix, right?
