Definitely go ahead and start them. Having the proper nutrients will only help with surgery, HOWEVER be aware that you need to let doctors know when you are taking omega3s as they act as a blood thinner. She will need to talk to them about it and then stop taking it for a few days prior to the surgery (I am not sure how many days so definitely talk to the doctor or surgeon's staff). This is specifically the Xomega complex not the other 2.
