Re: [Everything doTERRA] Digest for Everythingessential@googlegroups.com - 16 updates in 11 topics

What are you feeding your dog? The oils are amazing to support the body's healing but if you are feeding processed food that is often the actual cause.  IF you are open to feeding a species-appropriate diet which is food with a life-force (meat) your dog's health will transform!  Our animals are really no different than us… we are what we eat:) I can recommend a couple books if you want to email me privately.

My dog has a chronic fungal ear infection. It causes him to scratch his ear
until it bleeds and it stinks horribly. Are there any oils that would help
that and how would I use it?

If it's a small dog, I would try Lavender, diluted 1:1. You can rub it
onto the ear flap and around the base of the ear. If med sized dog, or
larger, use melaleuca (used the same way) diluted 1:1. You can also put a
few drops onto a cotton ball and place the cotton ball over the ear
opening. You just want to make sure that you aren't getting the oils into
the ear canal. You may want to consider a diet change or adding a
probiotic to help with this issue.
