I make a carpet deoderizer with baking soda and add in whatever oils I want. I have found that if I stir with a fork and break up the "chunks" and let it sit for a day, stir again, it really breaks them up and mixes well. I keep them in a container and then sprinkle on my carpet, let sit for awhile and then vacumm. Smells awesome and gets rid of germs as well. The trick is to let sit for a day if you want to pre-mix

I currently shampoo my hair with baking soda. Can I add essential oils to the baking soda for good results?
