I had plantars warts for years. Filing them that much can actually make them spread. Just filing enough to get dead skin off after a shower is ok - but I wouldn't recommend you file them to bleeding. I went tot doctor route for a few years, and they kept injecting them and they would eventually fall out - but would come back bigger! They are caused by a virus, and they 'come out' and actually look like they are 'growing' before they actually finally fall off. It took me over a year to get rid of mine. I altered oils each night, and applied them to a cotton tip and then would bandaid them to the wart. Thyme, Oregano, Frankincense, Rosemary, Clove, Melissa, lemon were all ones I alternated. Doing things internally as well to fight the virus that is causing them would be a good idea too. Hope that is helpful. Consistency and patience is the most important thing.

I have have several planter's wart's and I have tried everything. I have them on both feet, one left foot has a cluster on the heel and the right foot had on in the arch and one on the ball of my foot. Over the year s that I have lived with these unwanted feet guests...they have never bother me with pain during all the years I have had them... the are just ugly and I really want them gone. One more thing strange about these is I received a new planter wart with my pregnancy.
I was introduced to EO about two months ago. For the past two months I have been treating my planters wart with a blend of tree oil and oregano and on guard (not diluted) once in the morning and once at night.
I am getting discourage... not really see any results and my left foot has something new developing on it since I have been using these EO. I have what looks like little raised bumps just appear last week on the side of my foot just above the cluster and looks like oil is trapped under the skin and look transparent. It is really freaking me out and is very itchy. Any suggestion on what is occurring on my left foot above the cluster? There currently is nothing show on my right foot were the planter warts are.
Any suggestion on a how to try these planter warts.
