Thank you so much about this information. I had it really bad this last pregnancy and scared about having another one since the last one was so terrible. It has been a year since the last one arrive and that area is just now starting to get back to normal. It was getting progressively worse with each child.

This isn't a question, but something that I wanted to share for any expectant moms who are experiencing SPD.I have been struggling with SPD for about 8-10 weeks now (currently 24 weeks pregnant). I have been seeing a chiropractor which has helped some, but the pain has been constant and made it very difficult for me to function. For the last week I have been using AromaTouch across my lower back, bottom, hips, and into my groin. The difference is amazing. The pain is still present, especially at the pubic symphasis which is not the best location to apply oils. However, the pain is more than manageable. I apply it at least 3 times a day, sometimes 4 depending on the severity. And I always apply it just before bed and as soon as I wake up in the morning. I'm hoping that it will continue to work through the rest of my pregnancy, but I hope this helps someone who is suffering through this same pain and is at the end of their rope.
