Hi Emily... I know someone whose child has holoprosencephaly. I was actually looking for information on using essential oils for it when I came across this. This adorable little girl is now 2 yrs old. If I recall correctly, her prognosis was not more than 6 months from birth. Her Mom loves the OnGuard because I guess they get sick very easily. She also like the Lavender & Balance. They are a young couple, 1 income so that the other can be home with the child. She wants to buy oils so badly but I know their budget is tight. Our own budget is tight but I'm prayerfully considering just keeping her supplied with what she likes to use. I will now give her a sample of Frankincense to try as well. Helichrysum would be a challenge right now. This child is also tube fed so wondering if they could work the DDR Prime in some way.

My friend has gotten a more definitive diagnosis for her unborn child. The child has Trisomy 13. This explains the holoprosencephaly and hydrocephalus, since this is one of the severe defects that can accompany Trisomy 13. She is continuing to have many tests each week to get more answers. She is now being told that the baby will more than likely have a really short life.
