Lauren,
-- Yes, absolutely, it is worth it to claim all we do when building doTERRA as a business based on the Schedule C and it's instructions. There are all sorts of deductions as you mentioned, mileage and convention travel (hotel, food), but also advertising, postage, possibly a home office deduction, a portion of your cell phone, internet, etc if you use them for your business, also, all the oils you use as demos or sample out, the sample vials, roller bottles, spray bottles, booklets, product catalogs, ME books (if you give any to your people), office supplies (printer ink, printer paper, pens, etc.), training (books you purchase to help you with your business, the actual ticket cost for convention, etc.).
