Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Autism

Valerie, you are sooo welcome, i was afraid i was stating the obvious... there's a book called 'the highly sensitive person' by Elaine Aaron... it's a nice book with a positive spin, trying to make it sound 'not so bad' but yet explaining it with a deep affection for the HSP... it's a gentle book and i recommend it.. though most HSPs answer about half the questions with a yes, on the 'are you an HSP?' test, me i answered every single one with a yes and it didn't even go into some of the other stuff that is a bit harder to deal with....

but HSPs need alot of special care, and i'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it's not REALLY bad news, because if you give that special care, HSPs are really awesome people... it's just that we will never be 'normal' lol

there's other tests that you can take that are taken more seriously by docs... like myers briggs or whatever... while HSPs make about 15% of the population, the off the charts ones test usually as INFJs on the other test, which is 1 - 3% of the population

carl jung coined the phrase HSP, mainly because he WAS an HSP and wanted us to be recognized...

for the HSP to find out that there are others... it is a relief of epic proportions, because we tend to feel different in every way, like we don't belong in the world, and there's nobody that can relate to our special brand of weirdness...

so again, thanks for listening, my advice is lots of love, gentle living, and good food, oh and some really cool doterra oils, i like peppermint for showering with, and for perfume, it makes me feel happy to be alive :)

Elaine, thank you for being willing to share from your heart!  This is very enlightening.  Some of this helps me to understand a bit more w/someone I know.  Always good to understand how we each "tick".
