Re: [Everything doTERRA] Re: Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)

I have had POTS (for many years) and using Cypress liberally on my legs once or a few times a day keeps my circulation good.  I have not passed out since using Cypress and I am off all the meds I was on for it.  I also recommend ONE coconut water.  It has a lot of electrolytes and sodium but natural sugar rather than sports drinks.  That really helped me feel energetic and hydrated.  Maybe have her start w that in the mornings.  My cardiologist recommended I have one sports drink a day at least but the refined sugars gave me migraines, so the coconut water helped me a lot.

If you are looking for a doctor to help with POTS, it's really important that you see a cardiologist who is an electrophysiologist and specializes in autonomic dysfunction.  Otherwise, they won't know how to treat your daughter.

Best wishes.  POTS is a hard thing to live with.

Good news!  My 15 year old daughter with POTS is starting the LLV.   How do DoTERRA products compare to caffeine or Ritalin?  Hannah has brain fog (difficulty concentrating and remembering) as one of her most difficult symptoms. Caffeine or Ritalin have helped some people with brain fog.

I want her to take LLV and DDR Prime.  I will see if I can get them past her "queezy" or nauseous stomach.   Many things she should eat seem to bring back the stomach discomfort.

Is she taking the LLV? There is a new chewable available now and I would also have her
take the new DDR Prime (liquid) every day.

My 15 year old daughter seems to have Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia
Syndrome (POTS) for the past 2 years.  My main problem is getting
extra salt and liquids into her in the morning.  She feels very
"queezy" or nauseous and can hardly drink or eat anything until much
later in the day when most of her symptoms disappear anyway.  I tried
rubbing 1-2 drops of DigestZen on each foot but it did not seem to
help.  Does anyone else have experience with POTS and essential oils?
