[Everything doTERRA] Re: Nerve damage

Hi,

I would try the the DDR and LLV combo...I have heard success stories from people who were partially paralyzed from stroke and from we've been advised on the components...you can't go wrong!

If you can go further I would consider adding a little frankincense to the damaged area...good luck!

*Keep the ylang ylang and chamomile for the blood pressure...until it gets regulated.
**the aroma touch would probably help for pain massaged into the spine too.

BTW I had restless leg syndrome (atleast that's I Believe I had). I couldn't sleep through the night for even since i can remember and recently I started using Franki just a drop in my water...all of a sudden i could sleep. I had just started taking the franki for memory but one day after my doctor alluded to restleg leg as a potential cause of my repeatedly waking up to use the loo (i had already been undergoing sleep tests before starting the EO's)...I looked up restless leg syndrom and LOOK WHAT I FOUND...Franki in the remedies!

So...give it a try! :)

A non oil answer.  I have a long history of nerve damage in my neck that used to be severe.  Nerves, can regenerate, calm down, and get back to normal.  I used the Solar Ray brand of Resveratrol. I think Metagenics has a supplement with resveratrol in it as well.  A doctor put me on the resveratrol for nerve pain.  Also a B complex vitamin helps with the nerve sheath.  There is a therapy that calls for b vitamins to be injected around the nerve so that the nerve can easily absorb the b vitamins.  My husband uses the resveratrol when the neuroma in his foot gets irritated.  This supplement completely gets rid of his pain in a few days, he did have the cortizone shots, which did not help much at all.  My oil thought would be Lemongrass, which I think works on the ligaments.  Better ligaments, less load on the bones and discs.
You are right - nerve pain can run a persons life - I hope you find your answers. Blessings

I have severe nerve damage to my S1 nerve root. While in surgery to shave a herniated disk (L5/S1), my surgeon discovered the nerve was dark purple. He had held out little hope that the nerve will regenerate. Anyway, the nerve damage and pain from it runs my life. Restless leg type syndrome of course has now developed. Right now, I'm using clove, ylang ylang, chamomile, lavender and sandalwood. I'm wondering it there is a better blend to use. I'm afraid to add peppermint because my blood pressure has been affected due to the pain. I would love any suggestions to make my life, and my family's, more tolerable. Thanks!
