Completely ignoring the fact that the reason doTERRA can claim the CPTG mark (sure, it's their own, but so what?) is because they have NOTHING but the actual essential oil in their product, I guess it's a fair statement that there are other companies with "therapeutic grade" EOs, but so what? What I'm interested in is the opinion of EO experts--chemistry experts like Robert Pappas, who has also tested doTERRA's oils. He, as a chemist, asserts that they are indeed of the purity that doTERRA claims, and he runs his own gas-chromatograph/mass spectrometry tests. You can't fudge those kinds of tests. If there's something in there that shouldn't be, it's going to be found. Period.
Articles like this are written by disgruntled people who fall into 2 camps: 1) those who loathe that someone dare claim to have made the best EO ever; and 2) those who just like having an axe to grind.
If Pat were here, she would tell us to smile, and move on--that nothing can be gained by debating someone over the quality or purity of the oils. And she's right. However, my competitive and debating nature doesn't allow me to simply walk away without chiming in, so there it is. I've chimed in. :)
