[Everything doTERRA] Re: A2Z Question

I for one appreciate that doTERRA kids vitamins are actually affordable.  In the past I have looked for good kid vitamins that aren't synthetic, and though I have found them, they have all been way out of my price range for a 1mo supply.  If doterra used a cheaper, but just as effective/just as useful/just as good version of something so that I can afford the vitamins for my family, I appreciate that!

All ingredients found in doTERRA products are nature mimetic, meaning we ensure that they will function precisely as they should in the body. As a nutrition professional, this is much more important to me than its source. For example, synthetic vitamin E results in several different forms of vitamin E, though only one is used by the body. Thus we use a plant source that has only the active form. Vitamin B12 has only one form.

Another concern that others have asked about is a worry that the body must convert cyanocobalamin to methylcobalamin. This has been found on internet articles written by authors that do not understand nutritional physiology. The cyano- to methyl- conversion is easily carried out by the body, and the cobalamin itself is identical to cobalamin from any other source. A minute amount of cyanide is produced, an amount so small that there is no risk of harm. Every cell in the body can quickly convert cyanide to a harmless molecule. Cyanide is only a health risk in high doses. All forms of B12 are equally well absorbed and equally effective in the body. So I hope this helps everyone and answers your concerns...again you still have the choice to take the vitamins or give them to your kids...if there is something equivalent or better out there please share.
