I hate to start this out with a question, I know the object of this forum is to share our experiences, but I'm afraid I must begin with this: What are the reasons one would take the DDR? I have heard a lot about the side effect of the DDR helping hot flashes/night sweats, but I think I've missed the mark as to why we'd use it.
I have been having a lot of success with doTerra helping to minimize my hot flashes, although they are not quite gone as of yet. I started getting real excited with the said recent postings about DDR and last night decided to try it.
An hour and a half after I went to bed, I awoke. I was dreaming (for what seemed like a long time) that I couldn't find a bathroom and was getting desperate. I realized as I awoke that I had been under a very deep sleep (deeper than I've been for a long time), and thought this might still be okay ... perhaps it is just clearing my body out (?) so I went to the bathroom. I was happy that I did not flash at that time and went back to sleep. An hour later I woke with a flash again, and then I continued to wake and flash about every hour or so after that. Sometimes while I was trying to go back to sleep, I'd flash again. This morning it dawned on me that perhaps I'd slept through the first flash (so deep was my sleep?).
This morning I 'bagged' the idea of trying DDR at this time. I need to understand more, can anyone please help me with this?
