I really want to be able to use Immortelle on my face, since so many people rave about it, but I've tried it a few times over the past week, and it causes the worst eye irritation I have ever experienced. I am diluting it significantly with FCO, and not applying it directly on my eyes. But after applying it to my face, my eyes burn badly for a good hour (and pure FCO in and around the eyes does not stop the burning), and then they are heavy/cloudy feeling for the rest of the day. Today they even got swollen and puffy. I keep reading that you cannot be allergic to any oils, and that if there is ever any reaction, you need to do the candida cleanse/detox, but I've used many other oils/blends liberally without any problems whatsoever. I've even gotten peppermint and other oils directly in my eyes many times on accident, and it hasn't been a big deal. Am I the only one that has had this experience with Immortelle? Thank you! Jenny
