I think the Zyto is a good reinforcement of what I've said. Just like anything else, it is a tool and the way its used can determine success or failure. I'll try to describe how we do my parties. First I have a wonderful upline who comes to my events. We have snacks and water with lemon and wine. I have one of the doTerra videos playing in the background and diffuse OnGuard. We start be doing intos, name a favorite doterra product or experience if they have one. Then we present using the Reinventing Healthcare tear sheet. We always pass around Wild Orange or Balance and teach 'healthy huffing' with it. Then we do a Q&A and Zyto. Again, when I do the Zyto I have the ME book and oils next to me and let them try the best smelling one that comes up. But I do go through their results and have a pretty good idea what is going on with them based on what comes up. I generally encourage the Ph, Kit & FCO to start and possibly the most important oil on their scan or a protocol for their issue.
I was in sales before this so I have a background to call on. I was fortunate enough to have had some awesome training. For me it is kind of like building layers in the presentation and party followed by the Zyto. I try and use an example that most people can relate to. For example, the last party we had quite a few middle school teachers and I used the example of how I used Balance to deal with my teenager's anxiety issues. For parties with a mix I usually use the Fibromyalgia example because almost everyone knows someone who is miserable with it. You have to find something you are passionate about and build on that. For me the research part fasinates me so I use that. For one of my other friends she mentions how her friend forced it on her and the oils worked in spite of her skeptisim.
I try to evaluate after the event what I did that result in sales and repeat it. If something doesn't go as well as I would have like I try and think of what could have gone better and practice it.
I frequently go to other events for other people and teams and help. It frustrates me to no end when I watch people leave that would have signed up. I'm not kidding either. No one asked for their enrollment. I've been to a party where the new IPC said, no worries I'll just get them to sign up later. A month later and no sign up. Then they get upset when someone else signs them up. I have started bringing my own forms with me. I do the Zyto and I just sign them up right there and then hand the forms to the upline.
Always, always, always ask for the enrollment. There are many ways to do it... Have you looked over the enrollment kits? which one would you like to get? Would you like a kit or are you leaning toward a diffuser and oils? and so on and so on. But if you don't ask, they'll never sign up. Do I practice saying it over and over again? You betcha!
Closing might not be your problem and I'm not assuming it is, I just mention it because at the business building meetings we have monthly I hear about it over and over again.
Good luck building your team! It can be a lot of fun.

Building my team has been a sometimes slow process, then all of a sudden, I enroll a bunch at a time. I'd like to know what your enrollment rate was before the Zyto as well.Suzy

I LOVE the Zyto. I think it 'seals the deal'. As examples of some of the last parties:
7 people attended. 5 enrolled with Ph Kits, 1 wants to sign up but hasn't yet and 1 just ordered retail.
7 people attended. 6 enrolled, one ordered on her family member's account.
Went to a quilt retreat with one of my best friends who also uses oil and my upline also went (she gives mani/pedis) she brought the Zyto just in case and used the oils as part of the mani/pedi. Someone had a headache and we gave her oils, someone had a cut and we used the oils. The zyto came out and 4 people signed up and 2 more ordered.
We had a make and take party and had the Zyto there. I signed up the ones I scanned. I don't know how others did.
By people I mean family units, we are getting a lot of couples.
Part of the Zyto is being able to give answers. I explain the process then read off the list of oils/supps needed then go to the explainations and we go over them. I keep the ME book handy, the www.everythingessential.me up on the web and I keep a kit with all the oils handy as well. I always give them one that comes up that smells good to try. I like to do the Zyto after the presentation. After we go over everything I ask them what kit they'd like to sign up with. Should they say they aren't ready I always let them know that I get a bonus if they sign up under me and if they think I've done a good job to please come back to me. I take notes as to their health issues and follow up with an email with a link to their health issue protocol on the everythingessential.me site. I also send them home with samples and my card. I have about an 80% close rate with the Zyto.
So I can honestly say I doubt I'd be where I am if I didn't have the Zyto.
