My daughter has a rash. The doctors thought it was eczema at first
but when it started to spread, they weren't so sure. Now they want to
put her on a pedia-steroid oral medication for seven days. I was
willing to go ahead and give it to her just to ease her discomfort
(she's Really itchy and is causing scars from scratching) but when I
read the label, it freaked me out. It says 'THIS MEDICATION MAY LOWER
ABILITY TO FIGHT OFF INFECTION. AVOID CONTACT WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE
CONTAGIOUS DISEASES' This is Not comforting and makes me hesitate to
give it to her. But, in the meantime, her rash has popped up on
another area.
What do I do?? She seems happy besides the itch. I don't want to
Make her sick by giving her something. Grr :(
