Re: [Everything doTERRA] Avon SSS oil

The negatives outweigh the benefits.  While the toxicity of SSS is moderate, not severe (see http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/product/331760/Avon_SKIN_SO_SOFT_Original_Bath_Oil/ for details) it is still not suitable for using with our oils.  The Fractionated Coconut Oil is perfect so there's no need to use anything else.  It is completely unscented so the person using it will benefit from the scent of the e/o's.

I occasionally use other oils like a raw coconut oil with my Slim and Sassy since it is super-moisturizing.  Other suitable but not perfect oils are almond, sunflower, avocado.  For a super-healing mix before we had Immortelle I would use Tamanu oil mixed with a few other e/o's for wound healing. I may still use a drop or two of it under a band-aid to keep the area moist (my fingers crack easily).

Welcome to doTerra!  Stick with it and you will get one of the best educations on health!

Hi.  I am new with using E/O.  I have  a question regarding carrier
oil.  Avon SSS oil uses mineral oil as their base.  SSS has been
around a long time and has many great benefits.  Would it make any
difference if I used SSS as my carrier oil for mixing my doTerra E/O?
Interested in some feed back.  Thank you.
