[Everything doTERRA] Bladder spasms what oils would you use?

A 70yr old man w/stage 4 lung cancer is miserable b/c they have had to
put in a cath for his bladder. For whatever reason his bladder is
spasming almost continuously with no relief. IF he is willing to use
oils my first thought for him were possibly lavender since it is
everything calming and perhaps basil for the pain...

I am open to ANY suggestions...his misery is heartbreaking and we just
want to help him to be as comfortable as possible...
