Hi, All,
I have a couple of quetions about the Phytoestregens;

1)  It is soy based??? Those with soy problems can't take it?  That is what i heard, but please confirm.

2)  here is a comment from one of my readers about how the natural phytos could cause breast cancer just like the hormone replacement therapy.  How do i respond?  is this true?

Comment:
  The mesaopune is an endocrine event and hormone replacement therapy is supposed to modify the levels of the sex hormones to make it a less traumatic event for those for whom it is a problem.  Phytoestrogens are a natural alternative to HRT and work on the same principle.  (I have to say that given the choice I'd go for the medically supervised option.)Interestingly it is looking very much like HRT might prove to be a cause of breast cancer, so it is quite likely that phytoestrogens will be as well.  Natural remedies that actually do something are just as likely to have side effects as synthetic drugs.

Thanks  Janet
