Re: [Everything doTERRA] allergies to ears/ how to regenerate hair sensory nerve cells in the inner ear

Unfortunately the nurse that Greta saw knows nothing about the oils, they can't drive the allergies anywhere. They simply let the body do its magic in removing the allergies completely. The build up is the bodies mechanism of protecting the inner ear and the oils would have needed to be used consistently on the ear area to help this.

I agree with what you are using for your ears health now and would like to suggest a daily application of Basil, Frankincense applied behind and in front of both ears and bring the oils down to the bottom of the chin.

i am new to oils so I can't answer about the oils going into the eustachian tube. BUT, I do know you need to be very careful and make sure your eustachian tube is not bloced.  I just had to have ear surgery to remove the Cholesteatoma, because my eustachian tube got blocked from allergies, or a bad sinus infection or bad anatomy, so my own skin cells got trapped inside my inner ear and then the skin cells broke down into an acid that ate away at my bones.   The mastoid bone and the little tiny ear bones.   I have lost hearing in that ear from my hair sensory nerve cells also being damaged.  unfortunately, i did not know about this problem for years and the bones were eaten away quite a lot.  If I didn't have the surgery eventually the acid would have eaten away the bones that separate the inner ear from my brain and then I would have died of meningitis.

I am using LLV and Frankincense and helichrysum to the ear to try and heal and/or regenerate the hair sensory nerve cells, so I can later get a prothesis for my tiny ear bones and get my hearing back.     If anyone else has other suggestions I would greatly appreciate them.

Thanks,
Tammy

    I wonder if anyone has heard this one.

    I woke up with blocked ears 10 days ago, especially one ear where I can't
    hear anything (still after 10 days). The nurse practitioner at the clinic
    said that allergies in our area are especially bad this year. I told her I
    am breathing fine, no sneezing, coughing,watery eyes...I don't have
    allergies just sinus issues. She said, yes you DO have allergies! I told
    her how well my doTerra oils have kept me breathing freely and no sinus
    headaches. She said what happened is that the oils in effect, drove the
    allergies into the Eustachian tubes. They are inflamed. Anyone heard of
    such a thing happening because of using essential oils? I haven't quit
    using them.
