I had exactly the same problem after only 4 months of use. I did all
of what you have tried, but nothing helped. I cleaned it using the
brush provided every couple of weeks, however it still stopped working
in exactly the same way yours stopped. It was most frustrating to be
honest as it's not cheap!! The warranty is only for 3 months, so they
are not covered if it breaks after this time. My only suggestion is
that I probably wouldn't run it two cycles with the one refill as I
think it's needs to have 70ml of water in it to work properly and
avoid damaging the element/fuse/transformer (whatever it is that the
diffuser uses to diffuse!). In saying that though, I always emptied
mine out after each use and refilled with another 70ml and 3-5 drops
of oil and it still broke earlier than yours, so perhaps that's not
the issue! I ended up purchasing a new one and have my fingers
crossed this one lasts much longer!! The doTERRA member service line
told me to try using a different power supply/cord, so I did that when
my new diffuser arrived, but it made no difference. I ended up
throwing it out :-( Sorry to the bearer of bad news, but hopefully
someone has an idea that can help you!
