We make a fresh lime drink in our Vitamix with fresh limes, agave, ice and water. It is wonderful. When we added a drop of lime oil, WOW it is the best!
We made fondant for Christmas last year and used the Wild Orange and Peppermint flavors. They were wonderful.

I've made a sugar cookie recipe, and added a couple drops of wild orange – then made the frosting with a few drops of Citrus Bliss – and people rave about them. I've also made a 5-bean soup recipe – and when it calls for Thyme and Marjoram – I use a drop of the oil instead of the spice. Works Great. Sometimes you can take a recipe – like a fudge recipe – and add a couple drops of Peppermint oil to it – and it tastes FABULOUS!
As a matter of fact – here's a testimonial for all of you that just happened last weekend:
"My friend was making a special cake to demonstrate at a womens' meeting. It was a Chocolate Mint Torte, and she wasn't happy with the taste of the Mint filling she had made. So she asked my opinion as to the 'Peppermint Oil' she was using to flavor the dish. She brought the bottle of the Peppermint flavoring over to my house, and I pulled out my bottle of doTERRA Peppermint Oil so we could compare the two. The 'high quality' Peppermint Oil Flavoring she had purchased from a Baking store was nasty, and she loved our doTERRA Peppermint! She couldn't wait to go home and try my doTERRA Peppermint Oil in her dish. It turned out FANTASTIC! She had left the other flavoring at my home, and my husband just happened to pick it up and smell it. He disliked it so much, he dumped it down the sink, and threw away the bottle! Talk about a great introduction for doTERRA …at the demonstration, she proudly held up the bottle of doTERRA Peppermint oil when everyone asked what she had used to flavor the cake with! Little does she know what else it can do…but that story is to be continued…..!"

Well I have the perfect recipe for football season.
Frankincense and Lemon Hot Dogs.
My husband says they are so good he doesn't like to put anything on them. Go figure!
I get the no GMO, no Nitrate Organic Apple Gate Farms Hot Dogs in the health food store. They are frozen, so I just run warm water over them to thaw just enough to get them separated. Then put in about 2 to 3 table spoons of No GMO no Gluten, Organic Earth Balance butter. I make sure they are browned on every side, then I pierce them with a fork. Then take the melted butter out of the pan, and add 3 drops of Lemon and 2 drops of Frankincense and drizzle it back onto the dogs after turning the heat down to low or simmer. Roll the dogs in the now seasoned butter for about 2 min. Take the dogs out of the pan, then take your whole grain or wheat bread buns and place them in the buttered pan till they get just a tiny bit brown. Then put the dogs into the buns and eat....yay! Yummy and very easy to make. Enjoy,
.

I have a great idea, we'll have a fund raiser and send Rob to Australia to cook for all of our team. He is the most amazing cook I have ever met. And the salad dressing he makes are definitely 5 star. I did find out that the apple cinnamon syrup I made goes really well over cream cheese.
I wonder if Rob has noticed that everythingdoterra is doing a cook book with oils and raw food recipes????
And for everyones information this will be ready at our next convention and all proceeds will go to Helping Hands.

Not that these aren't great recipes, but unfortunately none are very simple, (except for a renounced TV chef). And only one or two uses essential oils, unless you want to put a tsp of cinnamon or a 1/2 tsp of clove in a recipe. They look awesome though and I think I'll try the veggie pizza tonight!
I did food for one of Wendy's events last week and made Tom Kia Kia Soup with lemongrass oil and a chinese chicken salad with wild orange vinagerette.

I have attached a few recipes that we use for oil events, hope that might help you.
There are many more and its really fun to be creative with the oils.
If you do something fun be sure and let us all know about it.

Hi! I 've been asked to talk at the next meeting of my Country Womens
meeting about my doTERRA oils and I thought what a perfect opportunity
to make or bake something in foodline that I can take for supper -
using the oils of course. We are not a big group but I thought what a
great way to share another aspect of using oils!
Thanks for your thoughts!
