Re: [Everything doTERRA] eczema in 7 month old baby

My granddaughter was born with that also.  I use Melaleuca, lavender and FCO mixture on her.  I believe it is yeast.

Subject: [Everything doTERRA] eczema in 7 month old baby

I have a friend that is breastfeeding a 7 month old baby with eczema. She has been to the Dr. and they gave her a cream that she does not feel comfortable using for long periods of time on the baby.   I suggested to the mom to avoid wheat and dairy.  Could she take Oregano,Melaleuca, and Lemon in a capsule if she is breastfeeding?  As far as the baby goes... she is broke out on her little face, would frankincense and FCO be the best choice?  Thanks for you help!

Yes and yes.  My 15 year old uses it for her face – and hasn't had any stinging at all…but I know everyone's skin is different.  She loves it, and it has been really good for her.  My 12 year old daughter scratched inside the inside part of her ear (just above the lobe) and scratched too hard which caused it to bleed and become a scab.  I put ClearSkin on a q-tip to just dab onto the scab.  She said it stung a little, but it was still an open wound.  The next day there was a dark scab over the area – and it almost looked like a 'crack' above the scab.  We continued to put Clear Skin on it that night, and the next night.  On the third night I also put a drop of Frankincense on it as well.  The next day after school she came home and said, "Guess what?!"  She showed me her ear.  There was NOTHING there.  No scab, so scar, no redness, no nothing.  Just a perfectly normal skin.  J

Rob (and anyone else), can you tell me how your son's using ClearSkin?  Is it as simple as just rolling it onto an abrasion or acne and that's it?  Also, has anyone tried using it for cuts?

We tell him that if it stings, it's killing the bad stuff.

Our 17 year old uses it almost daily.  (His skin looks great by-the-way).  However he does complain that it stings.  It must not be too bad however, because he continues to use it.  I would just try adding carrier to it.

Does anyone have any tips for using the Clear Skin?

I'm a pretty tough gal when it comes to using the oils neat. I always
tease my husband cause he needs to dilute them before using them:)
Well last night I applied the clear skin on a couple of pimples and
felt like my face was on fire. I used FCO to help take away the
burning feeling. I woke up this morning and my face still hurts! I did
not use it all over my face. I applied on just the two pimples, but it
felt like some had lit a match all over my face.

My husband used it too and while it stung a little he said it didn't
bother him like the oils usually do when he applies them neat.

Just wonder if there are any tricks anyone has found to help take out
the "sting" or maybe this tough ol' gal met her match? :)

Thanks!
