croup for the past few days. I wouldn't do the OnGaurd at this
point. Stick with Breathe, and alternate with Pat's suggestion of
Oregano/lemon. (I would say apply oregano/lemon 1 time for every 3
times of doing Breathe...that's just my initial thought. Also depends
on her congestion levels in addition to her cough.)
This has been my regiment for my 2 young ones, and has been working:
- Apply Breathe with some coconut oil on chest, back, and neck. Sit
in a steamy room (shower) for at least 20 min, or as long as you can
handle it. For extreme coughing fits, we have gotten in the shower.
But key is having the oil on before getting in, so the steam and warm
water can really push the oils into the tissues. I did this about 3
times during the night for the first 2 nights (night time being worse
for the croup / bronchitis cough).
- When not in the shower, apply Breathe on the top of the foot, near
the base of the toes every hour or two. According to the Modern
Essentials book and the foot reflexology listed, this corolates to the
bronchial tubes. Using Breathe (with some coconut oil), massage
repeatedly from the big toe to the pinky toe.
Yes, be intuitive and consistent.
The more you read and try, the more confident you will feel, and more
successful you will be!
